ORAC is a PD patch & upgraded firmware for Organelle, it can also run on Raspi and many other devices.

on debian systems you probably want to sudo apt install puredata-extra pd-mrpeach
routeOSC errors are probably due to a lack of mr-peach
I’m using it with PatchboxOS & the PiSound, so the patchbox-module seemed to install everything perfectly
using the piSound button w/ ORAC plots:
- Click 1 = Toggle MEC
- Click 2 = Restart ORAC
- Hold 1s = Toggle BT Discovery
- Hold 3s = Toggle Wifi Hotspot
- Hold 5s = Shutdown
Data is primarily found in:
/usr/local/orac
# but other stuff is in:
/home/patch/data/orac
/home/patch/media/orac
/usr/local/patchbox-modules/orac
When initialized, the default patch is running; on first run this means:
MIDI Channel 1 & 2 are synths, MIDI channel 3 is drums; there’s a sequencer running. Without displays or controls it’s not apparent what to do; especially if you’re not sending midi to the pi on these channels.
in the future, it might be cool to have another dedicated ORAC device; a Pi Zero WH with the Pimoni Pirate Audio board might be fun with a different control surface:
